Established in 1976 , BSN Rugby Club is one of the largest and most successful youth rugby clubs in the Netherlands.
From Under9 to Under19, teams compete in all regional and national competitions. This involves travelling to all parts of The Netherlands which is an enjoyable way to see the country.
The club also has an active Tags (non-contact) rugby introduction programme for Under7s.
While we are based at the British School in The Netherlands, it is certainly not a requirement to attend the BSN school in order to join our club. Over the years the club has become the rugby home for many players (and their parents) from the extended international community in the region including local dutch players as well.
In sub zero conditions BSN Turvens took to the field to host Voorburg, Hague, and for the first time this season, Rotterdam. In the battle of rugby skills (and the battle of attrition against the cold!), BSN did themselves proud with five wins and one loss.
Thirteen BSN Turvens made the trip to Delft for the Bonsadag matches against Amstelveen, Delft and Voorburg. In blustery conditions, the team showed their increased confidence: shipping the ball across the line with ease and picking out the support runners to break through the opposition’s defense….
