Two weeks until the District tournament and Tigers and T-Rex were at DIOK for games against HRC, Bassets and the home A and B teams.

DIOK’s first team continue to be the biggest challenge and are expected to be the main threat at the Districts. The Tigers edged a close contest 2-1 with a last minute try from William down the line. Although T-Rex dominated DIOK B, they lost to DIOK A and were turned over in the second half after a battling first half performance. In both games, DIOK A were strong in the centre and BSN were least effective, when playing narrow.

The BSN sides were on top against the other teams. T-Rex beat the Bassets 7-4 in a game that swung like a pendulum until BSN stretched away in the second half. Mac made some powerful runs through the middle, and Duncan, Leyla and Jamal found success out wide. On the other pitch, the Tigers started strongly against HRC, moving quickly into a 3-0 lead, before going to sleep and playing out a sloppy 5-3 win. The Tigers last game was a comfortable win against the Bassets with some good passing and a number of tries breaking from the middle of the pitch.
